Personal Development Counselor Training

This training represents a complementary specialisation for the counselors and  therapists that search for a deeper approach. of their individual work with their clients. The program will lead the participants to deeper understanding of psychical processes, counseling frame, individual impulses and ways of assisting the client with practical tools depending on his/her desire, expectations or disorders.

The certificate and license for personal development counseling and therapy issued by local authorities or the license in psychology/psychotherapy are necessary for   legal practice of counseling. Our training does not substitute the legal licenses nor offers the participants free practice rights, being an alternative training for therapists and counselors, based on practical tools and techniques developed by Dr  Stanculescu. Participation is not restricted to therapists or counselors with practice license, but we recommend for participants that desire to practice counseling and are not qualified for it to apply for licenses offered by the state legal offices during our training in order to be able to start having their own customers.

 Schedule

New groups usually start every year, the registrations being taken into account in the order of your submission.

The training is structured in eight weekend modules:

1. Who is the counselor/therapist? Frame, identity and personal limits. Transfer/counter transfer.  The Shadow and the personal development of the clients. Diagnosis and roots for psychic illness. Case studies

2. Who is the client? Rules and limits. Morality and money. Guidance and positive manipulation. Ethical principles and freedom. Case studies

3. Motivation and will stimulation in individual sessions. Depression and depressive disorders. Intervention methods in working with depression. Phobias and anxiety disorders.

4. Training of logical thinking and growing of multiple intelligences.  Psychosis and  psychotic disorders. Schizophrenia. Intervention methods for psychotic spectrum.

5. Behavior disorders. Spiritual disorders. Methods of intervention and applied case studies.

6. Self image and life conceptions in working with clients. Changing fundamental destructive believes and methods of self image change

7. Stages of child development and retard crisis. Parenting counseling and parenting styles  Counseling children and parents – ethics and limits

8. Strengthening the self techniques and practices for mentally disordered clients and for normal  youth on the search of their own inner power. Freedom and individuality in social environments. The counselor’s/ therapist’s own therapy and self care.

This training does not represent a professional training, therefore no professional credits will be given.
